Our Panelists
Gwen Berry is a two-time U.S. Olympian and Pan American Games gold medalist in the hammer throw. A world record holder in the weight throw, she’s also widely recognized for her activism, using her platform to advocate for racial and social justice. Currently, she serves as an assistant track and field coach at Tennessee State University, where she mentors emerging athletes while continuing to champion equity through sport.
Sona G. Jones is a dynamic leader in health and wellness, having recently served as the Chief Health & Wellbeing Officer at the YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago. She is passionate about health equity and creating spaces that prioritize physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Sona has held key roles at Partum Health, Athleta, and Weight Watchers, where she co-founded the Healthy Living Coalition and contributed to Oprah’s 2020 Vision Tour. With a strong background in marketing and content strategy, she’s worked with organizations like Chicago Ideas, BucketFeet, and Sony Pictures.
Keynote Speaker
Tori Franklin is a 2x Olympic Triple jumper, 3x Former American Record Holder, and the first American women to medal at World Level Competition in the women's triple jump. Tori is an author, entrepreneur, and advocate of the importance of mental health and wellness.
