Not Your Regular Dance Class

Dance Therapy is not about any particular style of dance.

Trauma, stiffness, and illness are often stored within the body. This flow of dance is a method for release and healing.

Even someone with ZERO dance experience or ability will have fun and benefit!

What You'll Need

An Open Mind

There are so many different forms of dance. Most are with the intention of learning that dance style. This class isn't like that. We focus on the five elements, fire, earth, water, air, and SPACE! Using these principles we move through stagnation, pain, aches, and trauma. Keeping an open mind and freeing yourself of expectations will help you to benefit the most from this practice.

Clothes For Movement

We will be lightly jumping, bending our knees, folding over, and everything in between! Make sure you are wearing something comfortable and secure.

Hydration

Any form of movement is going to give you a work out. You'll be happy you brought something drink!

Your Instructor

Tori Franklin is most known for her athletic achievements as an Olympic Track athlete, but she has also studied the healing potential of dance and elemental flow. She uses these modalities herself to free the mind of fear, doubt, and self limiting beliefs.
