The 7 Pillars of Our Mission

We believe that EVERYONE is entitled to a fun, adventurous, and joyous life! Our programs and events are designed to spark Joy.

It's important to provide underprivileged students with basic services, but it's even more important to remind them of their sacred humanity and help them cultivate joy!

We believe that EVERYTHING is connected. We are all connected to each other, regardless of the superficial things that often divide us. We are also intricately connected to Nature, though we often lose sight of that when we live in the city.

Our programs help students understand their shared humanity and recognize their unity with all beings. We also provide retreats for inner-city students, so they can practically understand both the importance of sustainability and the healing power of Nature.

Movement: A healthy physical body is key for maintaining a healthy mental and emotional state. We teach yoga, dance therapy, and athletics to help young people build a Happii and healthy lifestyle!

Mantra: Words have power! The way we speak to others, and to ourselves, shapes our reality. Through journaling, meditation, writing workshops, and positive affirmation exercises, we teach the healing power of words.

Purpose/Passion: Cultivating a sense of purpose, and the passion to pursue your goals, is a key ingredient in uplifting people and communities. We help young people discover their purpose and cultivate a sense of direction as they accomplish their goals!

Play: Underserved BIPOC students are often denied the opportunity to simply play and be kids. Play inequity is a real and serious problem, because Play is an important way for us to learn, grow, and regulate the stresses of the world. We believe that you're never too old to play, and we cultivate events for all ages to PLAY!
